Hey there, I'm Jakob one of the founding members of The Bullish Bear, a living example of turning challenges into opportunities. Growing up, life threw me some curveballs—I lost my dad when I was just 6, and with three older siblings, we didn't exactly have it easy. Hand-me-down clothes and free school lunches were the norm for us.

But you know what they say, tough times breed tough people. I always had this itch to do something big, something different. Call it a gut feeling or just plain stubbornness, but I knew deep down that entrepreneurship was my ticket to success.

So, I did what any kid with big dreams and a free lunches would do—I started selling those school lunches. While my classmates were nodding off in class, I was busy dreaming up ways to kickstart my career as a young entrepreneur. Yeah, maybe I was a bit ahead of my time, but hey, that’s just me.

I got a part-time job with a telecommunications company as a sales consultant. I kept that job all the way through school & university. Once I left university, I went full-time and became the top sales consultant in the company. Making £70k in my first year was a milestone, but I wanted more.

I chose to go for management and became branch manager within 18 months, despite being told it would take at least 5 years. However, I soon realized I had hit a ceiling with the company. That's when I started diversifying and invested in a restaurant for passive income.

Moving away from telecommunications, I ventured into fashion retail management. But my ambitions didn't stop there. I made a bold move to Miami, USA, and entered the world of Experiential Marketing, working with major brands like LVMH, Bacardi, and Proximo, to name a few.

Rapidly climbing the ranks, I became a Director within a large agency in New York earning six figures. Meanwhile, I didn't overlook the importance of long-term investments and delved into real estate as part of my financial plan.

As my investments and began yielding healthy returns and I had built a sizable property portfolio, I realized I didn't really need to work for anyone anymore. That's when I ventured into the world of stocks, alongside reconnecting with a close friend who shared the same passion for trading.

While my friend was into day trading, I focused on long-term trading which was really struggling due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We both shared similar motivations and knew countless others who harbored the same ambitions. We wanted to create a community of like-minded individuals, all aiming to drastically change their current situation in life, all with a burning passion to succeed, all yearning for financial freedom, and all willing to do whatever it takes to get there. Together, we envisioned a community that helps everyone grow technically & financially. From this shared vision, The Bullish Bear was born.
